Antarctica – A “Bell-Ringer” of Climate Change
Currently, Antarctica is one of the fastest warming areas in the world; the rate of temperature change there is three times faster than anywhere else on the planet. As a result of climate change, Antarctica is starting to melt. A new scientific report published in Nature revealed that in 2017 Antarctica experienced the warmest temperatures, lowest snow cover, and lowest autumn sea-ice cover on record.
